We are on our third year having continuous playgroups at three local senior living communities in Tucson, we are starting a monthly visit to public libraries to invite the community to create art together, Second Saturday events with the Little Leaf Collective brings ALL ages together for a morning of peace, love and kindness and our third year celebrating the very special role of being a Grandparent!  We have so many more ideas and ways to unite generations and with your help today we can make it happen!   Thank you so much.

Grandparents Day Q&A

Do I need a grandparent to attend this event?   Anyone is free to come with or without a grandparent!  We have several craft activities that can be made to send to a grandparent OR it could be given to a grandfriend in your neighborhood which is bound to bloom a smile!

Can I get tickets ahead of time?  Tickets will be available day of at a tent in front of the Savoy Opera House.  Grandparents get in for FREE!  Wristbands are $10 for ages 1 and up.  Wristbands include admission to the outdoor amusement rides like the train, ferris wheel and carousel while also having access to all the fun craft, intergenerational activities and entertainment inside of the Savoy Opera house.   *A portion of the ticket sales will go to our organization!

Parking:  Trail Dust Town has parking available around the perimeter of the business location. Handicap parking can be found on the east side near the train station and outside of PolyAnna Park.

Tips: It is still pretty hot in Tucson during early September.  We recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen for when going on outdoor amusement rides, bringing a water bottle (There will be  free water bottles available sponsored by El Perro Loco Hotdogs but we also recommend you bring your own) Refreshments will be sold at the Cowboy Cart inside of the Savoy Opera House.  Lastly, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes.
